My father and I spent a few incredible days at Manzili House. The house is very beautifully designed built with traditional influences, by Lamu craftsmen. A lot of attention has been put into the details of the design and decoration. The rooms are spacious while intimate at the same time. We had some beautiful get-togethers on the roof terrace (which is shaded by acacia trees!). You can easily go walking around the village of Karen, and have a little swim in the pool afterwards. Our hosts and the staff were attentive and gracious..... unforgettable
I had the privilege of being the first guest upon arrival from New York and was immediately transported to Lamu because of the architecture. I had breakfast under the acacia canopy on the rooftop followed by a swim and was very sad to leave on my safari as I felt at home immediately. The place is spacious yet cozy and very peaceful. I highly recommend a stay there
I had the pleasure of the most serene stay at Manzili House last month. I had an assignment in Nairobi and based myself here and it was just perfect. A beautiful place, spacious, calm, high quality and well connected for work too. It was so peaceful working from there and enjoying a few drinks on the roof terrace with the Manzili House family surrounded by the bush babies. The team at Manzili House was a delight friendly and efficient. I will definitely stay here again on my next assignment. Thank you all again!
Great place! Great family, Great Staff! Fantastic Location! Loved breakfast! and had the best sleep! Better than Lamu!! No mosquitoes, no sand, no sweat!!!
